This video premiered at The Art of Resilience, an annual event celebrating the suite of programs Jewish Family & Children’s Service offers for those with Parkinson’s disease. The short film stars Lana Farina, who has continued to attend JF&CS Parkinson’s Dance as a volunteer after her husband passed away from the disease. I interviewed Lana off-camera, edited the video, and selected the music. Gino Beniamino of 5 to 9 Media did a superb job filming the interview and the dancers. The video was well-received by the program participants and donors at the virtual event, some of whom were holding back tears at the end of the film.
