Since Dolly Parton is the world’s most famous Smoky Mountain native, my agency jumped at the chance to film a video with her for the travel website VisitMySmokies.com. Before the video shoot, we ran a social media contest soliciting questions for Dolly about the Great Smoky Mountain area from our fans. I wrote the intro and outro copy that Dolly delivers, coordinated the details of the shoot with the president of Dolly Parton Productions, selected the interview questions, hired the voice-over artist, and provided feedback during the editing process. The Spining Group filmed the video and Hansen Visuals provided editing and graphics. The video has over 45,385 views on Facebook and over 17,600 views on YouTube.
